This was one of our many *2 guitars and a harp* tunes, with Jim Kuha playing the bass pedals, instead of his Rickenbacker bass guitar. This was recorded in one take with the only overdub being the vocal. I opted to just play my Rickenbacker 12 string during the fuzz guitar solo rather than overdub my Stratocaster. We were simply laying this down to catalog the song. The solo fuzz is of course my still favorite fuzz pedal the "Maestro Fuzztain - MFZT", an incredibly musical fuzz tone.

Remember when you were quite young
you never knew what to say
and someone would come along light the way?
And other times when you’re with someone else
you can’t get away
until someone would come along light the way
As soon as you see a warning sign
You know you don’t have to run because
people can’t feel in love at all,
unless you show them how
and light the way , just light the way
I need to know just what you know
About loneliness and heartlessness that grows
inside your heart when you’re all alone
you cant get away
until someone will come along light the way
As soon as you see a warning sign
you know you don’t have to run because
people can’t feel in love at all
unless you show them how
and lights the way , just lights the way
Looking back, 10 years ago I wasn’t dressed to kill
I didn’t have no hair, I didn’t care at all
(he didn’t care at all)
But now my hair is too long!
As soon as you see a warning sign
you know you don’t have to run because
people can’t feel in love at all
unless you show them how
and light the way , just light the way
Remember when you were quite young
you never knew what to say
and someone would come along light the way?
just light the way, just light the way
