Inspired by Charlie Musselwhite's In Your Darkest Hour

Written, produced, mixed, and arranged by Shawn Adam Williams

My inspiration for “In Your Darkest Hour” by Charlie Musselwhite. I wrote this because anyone has to go through lonely nights. I only put my amplified harmonica chops, bass, and vocals with no guitar or drums. So, this song is based on my experience with having blackouts, when the skies are black, lights are out. They have candles around, and they are trying to hold on to the one you are with.
Verse 1:

The lights are dim in the loneliest night
Loving you dearly all through the night
So, here we are, out here in the cold
Feeling warm and very bold
Everything’s alright through the loneliest night
I’ll make you mine

Verse 2:

It shivers to the bone, and it freezes to the soul
Since I lost you in the loneliest night, I held you tight
Everything’s alright in the loneliest night
I’ll make you mine

Solo

Verse 1 Repeat and fade
