I spent some time working with some Viet Nam war veterans. Some of their stories were quite touching. Especially the guy who delivered ice cream just out of high school and was then drafted shortly thererafter and sent to "Nam". When he came back he tried to pick up delivering ice cream but as he stated "it wasn't the same". This song is a tribute to all those guys.
