A heart filled song which grapples with the grief and guilt of having lost a dear friend to a sudden death. The vocals and melody are cradled by beautiful strings and accompaniment, with the song ending in a sorrowful declaration of the words that were never said.

I had wanted to write a tribute song for a dear friend who died so suddenly, last year. I'd worked on a few things, but nothing seemed to work, until the right song just flowed out one day. Lyrics, melody, and chords came out all at once. I knew that was it.
When I took it into the studio, the players and my producer were so very thoughtful in understanding the subject matter of the song, and they projected their compassion, in their beautiful parts.
I was so lucky to have them play on this song, which became a sorrowful release for me.

More Tomorrows
I guess we never know/Which way the wind will blow
Taking our heart-filled memories/From along the way
If we could only know/How fast the time will go
We’d live our memories/Like there was no tomorrow
Like no tomorrow/Like no tomorrow/Like no tomorrow/Like no tomorrow
I wish I’d only known/You wanted to let it go
And take all your heart-filled memories/From along your way
Could I have ever known/You wanted to let it all go
Could I’ve convinced you to stay/For more tomorrows?
For more tomorrows/For more tomorrows
For more tomorrows/For more tomorrows
I see you standing/Under the church stones and stain glass
Where there are choirs/Singing hallelujah….
Singing just for you
Sing Hallelujah/Hallelujah
Sing Hallelujah/Hallelujah
I wish I'd told you so/Before you had let it go
That you were a part of/my heart-filled memories
And If I had only known/you'd leave us/And let it all go
I'd of convinced you to stay/For more tomorrows
