Originally, the vocals on this song were more jazzy sounding, when I first wrote it on my acoustic guitar. When I brought it to my producer, Eric, he said he could hear a little bit of a Led Zeppelin influence in the way that I was playing my guitar, and in my vocals. Particularly, in the bridge section. Once the band arrived to record in the studio, we decided to go that direction.
I think that the excellent players and Eric's production, brought this song up to a whole new level.
