When you have nothing, but time on your hands, you have to think of things to do. Go to the beach and enjoy the sights sounds, and relax!

Beach on Monday
© Bud Elkin
[verse]
When you have nothing, but time on your hands, you have to think of things to do.
You might think, it’s, easy and fun, but it takes me all day, to get it done.
Some ones got to do it, and it might as well be me.
[CHORUS]
Beach on Monday, beach on Tuesday; I can’t find time for anything else.
It’s a tough life, but somebody’s got to do it.
Wednesdays through Friday are much the same. Layin in the sand all day.
I don’t know what else that I can say.
[BRIDGE]
Some say they think it’s a waste of my time, but I don’t think they understand.
Me and the beach, all day long, with my feet planted in the sand.
[1 set CHORUS lead]
[DBL. VERSE]
Cooler in hand, umbrella and towel, I’m ready to lay in the sun.
Well, You might think it’s, easy and fun, but it takes me all day to get it done.
Some ones got to do it and it might as well be me.
Sunglasses on, with Polaroid lenses, to get a better view of the crowd.
Volleyball only, Tuesday and Thursday. Sometimes they play music loud.
Some ones got to do it and it might as well be me.
[BRIDGE]
Some say, it’s a waste of my time, but I don’t think they understand.
Me and the beach, all day long, with my feet planted in the sand.
[CHORUS OUT]
Beach on Monday, beach on Tuesday; I can’t find time for anything else.
It’s a tough life but somebody’s got to do it.
Wednesday through Friday are much the same. Layin on the sand all day.
I don’t know what else I might say.
