A dizzy, exotic, organic pop masteripiece. Trippy and very thought-provoking.

This one's about a very interesting, mysterious Bible character. Great food-for-thought. Written on the mandolin, by the way, with some fascination Muslim calls-to-prayer layered into the track (a remnant of my recent trip to Istanbul)....

fiogf49gjkf0d And we walked
And we talked
And the sky grew orange
With the dying of the day
We spoke of love
We spoke of peace
And shadows grew longer
With each and every passing word
I grew quiet
And I grew tired
I longed for home but my Friend
only turned around and smiled
You will be, you will be safer
Safer than baby in mother's womb
You will fly higher than clutching man
And his achingly mortal tomb
You will not tire for my rest will lift
All your weight right into the clouds
You will see, you will see My face
And mercy fire burn bright and loud
"My Friend", I asked
"When will I sleep?"
He said "we've walked so long, why
don't you just come right on home with me?"
