For the street children of Brazil

fiogf49gjkf0d I'm young but I look old I know I do
There's nothing here to save me from myself
- And there's others too, my brothers, they all look the same...
We all do....
We're on the pile of human waste they call a life
Oh help us feel the warmth of human kindness
Help us help ourselves
To put the damage right
If you were in my shoes would you be smiling now?
Would you think of some small way that you could get away?
Oh get out - well we're here every day
And there's no way, no way out...
You can look at it all ways round
Inside out and upside down
But God how come there's children here
On the one way down, on the one way down...
We've heard there's help a' coming
To give us something special
Oh a place to stay, warm and safe...
I'm young but I look old I know I do
There's nothing here to save me from myself
- And there's others too, my brothers, they all look the same...
We all do....
You can look at it all ways round
Inside out and upside down
But God how come there's children here
On the one way down, on the one way down, oh...Lord help us...
