I wrote this after going through a really rough breakup. I couldn't sleep on a few different nights, and the only way I could express how I felt was music, and I sat with my guitar and looper pedal and that's where the intro of the song came from. The lyrics are about sitting in the final moments of a relationship, and trying to cope with loss.
