Crystal arms of broken treetops bow as wind rushes by…..

and light a Sabbath candle to chase the gloom away

frosty hands and foggy fingers reach out everywhere

And its harder now than ever- so many years so much surprise
No matter how we persevere in life the seasons give no compromise
And it gets hard to see the sidewalk peering through revolving doors.
But those sympathetic hints of spring just cannot be ignored.
Dreams of summer no longer capture all our time and care
Time stands still and dreams all fade as stillness fills the air
the time for checking clocks is through,
