Someone died. I was told to let go. I didn't appreciate the advice.

fiogf49gjkf0d Holding On
When the voices in your head
Get promoted to trusted friends
When the medication
Just leads to better
Hallucinations
When everybody frowns at you
But you always smile back
Well at least you seem happy
You must be on the right track
You must keep holding on
No matter what you do
I know the others say to let go
Fuck ‘em
They don’t know you
And what’s the harm
In holding on
When it’s all you got
All you have left
When the voices in your head
Starting inviting their own friends
When the medication
Just mixes well
With inebriation
When everybody smiles at you
But you always frown back
Well if you’re that unhappy
You must be on the right track
You must keep holding on
We live in a world
Of cowboys, Indians and terrorists
It’s a right wing shooting club
Of course you need a therapist
But you’re no more fucked up
Than the rest of us
Just resist
