In the summer of 2004, Mike wrote this piece for the Trinity composer's orchestral workshop, performed by the Trinity College of Music Sinfonia, after only one 45 minute rehearsal, this is how they realise the piece. Mike wanted the piece to have an exciting beginning, moving to a quiet, reflective middle section which buids to a climax at the end. Conducted by Ante Skaug. Recorded by Kit Venables.
