Fun with guitars. Lots and lots of layering guitar parts and vocals. I really like the way the bass and the lead six string lock in together on the riff, and then fly away on their own during the first bridge. The second bridge is a nice little fantasy within the song, because you know that none of it is ever going to come true. But we can still dream, can’t we? The future that never gets acted out is often times just as important as the one that does. As a very wise ( in the truest sense of the word)man once wrote, “Wouldn’t it be nice…”. And yes, Virginia, there really was a Sarah. Ah first love…
