fiogf49gjkf0d Alone
I got a leg up on the sink and my arms around a stranger
I got one hand on the doorknob and my heart is set on danger
And there’s chemicals and alcohol floating in his eyes
And I bat my lids I dive right in and shed this disguise
And it’s a dangerous world, I choose to be in it
A dangerous life, and I choose to live it
I don’t need your advice or you holding my hand
I’m a big girl know, think I can stand on my own, alone
Gotta get my act together, got to make it up the stairs
Gotta straighten up my clothing, run my fingers through my hair
Gotta wipe that stupid grin away, it shows where you have been
And I take a breath and grab a drink and start all over again
And it’s a dangerous world, I choose to be in it
A dangerous life, and I choose to live it
I don’t need your advice or you holding my hand
I’m a big girl know, think I can stand on my own, alone
And it’s a sticky situation with no where or why {break} or how
I’m an angel and a devil just some girl to him {break} now
But I know his hands, I know his stance, I know him all too well
So it’s back to my own base, so that I can kiss and tell
And it’s a dangerous world, I choose to be in it
A dangerous life, and I choose to live it
I don’t need your advice or you holding my hand
I’m a big girl know, think I can stand
I don’t need your advice or you holding my hand
I’m a big girl know, guess I gotta stand on my own, alone, alone
