One Man Show
One man show, He’s a one man show.
Tells the world that he does it all.
He’s all alone - got nowhere to go
He’s on the road - carries a heavy load.
And when the sun comes up,
His day is never done.
Can’t seem to get rest.
He’s always on the run.
Everyday - people say
What’s the deal will his heart ever heal?
He had a girl who changed his world.
Changed it again when their love - it did end.
One day he was so euphoric
So in love – up in the clouds.
But now he’s so bitter – he feels alone in a crowd.
He’s a one man show
Got no place to go.
Puts on a happy face.
He just looks out of place.
He’s a one man band.
And he doesn’t understand.
You can’t do it alone.
You need a helping hand.
And when the daylight shines.
It stays dark inside his heart.
He can’t seem to fill the emptiness.
Of his love who departed.
Everyday - I hear the people say
What’s the deal will his heart ever heal.
He had a girl who changed his world.
Changed it again when their love it did end.
