I paid attention when he got that twinkle in his eye
Mr. Peabody and Sherman off into the sky
He remembered the Crash he was a Doughboy over there
When World War One ended fighting forever everywhere

Martin lives when I recall the twinkle in his eyes
Bess outlived him 20 years and missed him every day
