I wanted something to outline how I feel

Don’t close your eyes Don’t close the door Don’t wear a disguise Like you’ve done before This is important This is real This is our last chance To really heal Some people pray to heaven Some people pray to hell Some don’t pray at all And do quite well This is not a test This is real This is our last chance To really feel It’s hard to justify That we don’t fight it Can’t look each other in the eye but we abide it We could still achieve greatness If we try Right after we dry These tears of lateness Look at your cell phone Look at your t.v. Look anywhere you want But don’t look at me I’m not important I’m not real Just part of the construct Designed to conceal What is true What is false It’s all up to you But it's not your fault You’re passing a test That isn’t real You’re better than all the rest How does it feel For love to live Hate must die If you want to know the answers Then just ask why We could still achieve greatness If we try Right after we dry These tears of lateness x
