If you ever had a friend that you fancied and you ended up at your place at the end of an evening out together, chatting, CDs playing, then this particular cup of coffee may taste familiar. I used a 'Back II Black Street' rex loop and added splash cymbals, handclaps, vocal percussion sounds, ukelele, acoustic guitars, slide guitar, bass guitar, lots of backing vocals and a single lead vocal.

fiogf49gjkf0d Verse 1
Not that I've got nothing to say
But I'm looking for words that'll tempt you to stay
And keep alive this moment
And keep our options open -
...nothing's spoken.
Sitting here on the sofa with you,
The coffee gives our lips and hands something to do
But it won't last all night
And I'm losing the fight,
I'm like a moth to the light...
Chorus
One touch and I'm on the floor,
A wrong word from me and are you out of the door?
One push and the dam will burst -
I'm holding on and hoping
That you'll be the first to make a move.
Verse 2
The song fades are you ready to go?
Is this goodbye or the sweetest hello?
I want to move that stray hair;
I don't know if I dare -
I'm touching your hair...
If the eyes give a glimpse of the soul
Then yours is on fire and I'm starting to smoulder
Just from your gaze;
I can't look away,
Can't look away hey
Chorus
One touch and I'm on the floor,
A wrong word from me are you out of the door?
One push and the dam will burst -
I'm holding on and hoping
That you'll be the first to make a move.
Middle 8
My head roars like a waterfall,
I can't fight it, I'm sure to fall
If you touch me...
Verse 3
I whisper 'I want to take you to bed',
Your reply's smeared by kisses, I don't hear what you said;
Should I ask again?
So I ask again -
The answer's clearer this time...
Guitar Solo
Chorus
One touch and I'm on the floor
A wrong word from me and are you out of the door?
One push and the dam will burst -
I'm holding on and hoping
That you'll be the first
To make...
A move...
