'This is a lyrical gem set in an iron melody.' FOLK MINER The MotherLode ther's a fire burning east to west i smell smoke but it aint here yet....
Liberty proved to be one of the most uplifting songs on the album. First written in the late nineties, it seems poignant and ahead of its time speaking of freedom, the divide between the east and west, terror, and how liberty is a debated issue. This was written prior to the September 11th bombings, and before songs on every issue of liberty became a mainstream selling point in America.
Absolutely, the song is beautiful as is everything I have listened to from you guys.
Thank-you for playing our music as well, certainly means a lot to us.
Great to meet you on here, and I hope to keep in touch.
Maybe our paths will cross someday in the real world eh?
take good care,
Bob SUMNER BROTHERS.
