LEGENDARY MUSIC I remember going to hear Ian and Sylvia Tyson (Canadian Country legends) in concert when I was going to university here a hundred or so years ago now and thinking to myself at the time, lordy how I'd love to be able to play guitar and sing as good as Ian with a girl like Sylvia with a voice as soft and smooth as honey. I dreamed of campfires, cowboy trails and starry nights, and yep, just like Pip and Merry here, who by the way come as close as damn is to swearing IMHO to Ian and Sylvia singing "drinking wine making love and killing time". What a great line that is!! Pip and Merry my wonderful friends, what a pleasure it is to sit here on this warm summer night on the porch of the old cabin - sans my old pal Rascal though who has gone on to the great beyond to wait for me - keeping time with you strumming away on my old guitar and humming this gentle peaceful melody to myself, wiling away my quiet hours, thinking, reminiscing, and just plain loving listening to you take me on this musical journey tripping the light fantastic down memory lane. "Pilgrim's Lament" is another classic by this greatly talented pair of troubadour minstrels from the U.K., wistfully filled with the feeling of warm prairie winds, tumbleweed, wagon trains, Rocky Mountain dreams and purple golden desert sunsets ... simply beautiful. Welcome to the world stage once again at Legendary Music.
