When I first wrote this song I didn't think much of it and it was the last on a demo tape of new songs I gave to Ali (singer of Electrasy). He didn't like any of the others but went wild about this. Turned out this song went to #19 in the UK (1998) and basically was the main driving force behind the signing of both of our major record deals (with MCA and ARISTA). Apparently it nearly made it as the credits song in Notting Hill (ahh, so close and yet so far!!!!).
I realize this version does not sound as good as the original Electrasy version (especially my singing which really does not do the song justice whereas Ali it), but hey, it's just me in my garage and I figured that until MCA/Universal get their act together with iTunes and finally release "beautiful insane" this is about as good as it's going to get.
