fiogf49gjkf0d I AM SORRY
I am sorry if I disagree
with so many of my friends
and I know that you believe in how you feel
It’s so difficult for me, but I know on
which side of the fence I should reside
I am sorry, but I can’t apologize
There’s just all too much at stake
And the future of mankind
can depend on if we stand or cut and run
‘Cause there’s people with such hate
The kind that only makes them blind to compromise
They’re not sorry and they don’t apologize
This world is torn in two
It’s them or us, it’s me or you
and there’s always someone left out in the cold
So we must dissipate the rage
Write the rules upon the page
and bring the one’s outside safe into the fold
War is not a way of life
It’s just another way to pain
But, if we don’t uproot the evil, it will thrive
So for our children's children's sake
our warriors will sacrifice so we survive
I am sorry, but I won’t apologize.
