I'm standing in the supermarket line
Tired of staring at the back of this guy's head

Lately I've been trying to watch what I eat
Taking vitamins and cutting out the fat
Trying to drink eight glasses of water a day
Hopping up on the old exercise machine

In my head, I've been drinking lots of Budweisers in my head
Please God let me win the lottery (repeat)
Can't you see I'm trying to rest my eyes?
I haven't slept in over 14 years
Don't make me get up and bring the kids to church
Alright, alright I'll make you some cinnamon toast
But in my head, I've been sleeping in on Sundays
