Knocked Over
I've been swept along through life keeping my head down,
and I've been wrong more than right. I shouldn't make a sound.
It's like I'm moving through the dark, the world in shades of grey.
And what I'm looking for, I forgot along the way.
Now I'm knocked over and I'm lying on the ground,
But just try to hold me down.
I've fallen too many times and kicked while I've been down.
And once I even jumped and was dragged across the ground.
It's like I'm driving in the dark, down a long freeway.
And I see you in a car Going the other way.
Now I'm knocked over and I'm lying on the ground,
But just try to hold me down.
But just try to hold me down.
I've come a long, long way just to be disappointed.
And there's nothing you can say that would change it anyway.
Now I'm knocked over and I lost another round.
But just try to hold me down.
But just try to hold me down.
