A young solider eager to prove his worth and kill some Chinese in the Vietnam soon finds out this is a war of a different caliber. Boots on the ground fighting in mud, tropical heat, mosquitoes, carving the jungle with machine gun fire and napalm while trying to avoid agent orange and winding up like their friends who are lying dyeing next to them.
