fiogf49gjkf0d 3 Am I’m up again I got no reasons yet I keep falling down again
And all I’d really like to know has been forgotten as I watch my life go by
I look out on this town I know, the streets of Boston, a place I call my home
All I”d really like to say is I’m here now in a city that knows my name
The houses that I used to live in
The people that came and went
And the dreams that I have forgotten
And the Dreams that I just can’t let in
All that I’d really like to say
Has gone out that window
Why do I Why do I let these things go away?
7AM I’m up again, I see my city crumbling down again
Same old walls that held me in surround me, I reach out to understand
I remember standing on the corner watching all the cars go by
People in their shirts and collars burning bright like fireflies
Children screaming for their mother me and my older brother
Baseball games at Fenway Park, Lovers, Haters, Broken Hearts
Colored lights streaming down, Old man whisky with his simple frown
College girls with their skirts held high, smoky bars, drinking to good times
The houses that I used to live in
The people that came and went
And the dreams that I have forgotten
And the Dreams that I just can’t let in
All that I’d really like to say
Has gone out that window
Why do I Why do I let these things go away?
3Am I’m up again, the streets of Boston come around again
And I’d really like to say, is I’m here now, in a city that knows my name.
