Darling, I hardly know where to begin writing this letter
There are so many questions I want to ask you
First, I guess I’d just like to know if you’re really happy where you are
But most of all, I just want to know if maybe someday you’ll come back to me

Or am I one more broken piece of your history

These questions I have asked a hundred times before
You just never answered those a hundred times or more
Should I forget how much I still love you so

Should I just pack up all my bags and go

If I get to California sometime
