Wrote this after hearing about a police officer shooting a man for reaching for his ID when the cop stopped him, and generally hating all the haters out in the world

All the violence that’s killing many people, spreading hate through the land,
All the turmoil expressed by all the people, who just want to take a stand.
Against unjustness and prejudice among us, who are we to cast a stone,
We should all just, write our congressman and, tell him we won’t condone
Trouble is that, many are at risk of, giving up liberties
Cause their stupid, not knowing what to fight for, lost their sanity
