I wish I could have done a better job with it.

The Broken Heart:
Thrown...
like a stone.
I look around,
and I wonder...
where the love has gone.
Worn...
to the bone.
I raise my head,
and I shake my fist,
and I pray for the strength;
to carry on.
Looking back upon my life,
and the places that I've been...
I feel the pain,
and I see the change,
and I see: I won't see,
here again...
I see a girl,
who someone loves,
and I watch her slip away...
I want to tell her:
"It'll be alright"
Yeah, I'm strong,
and I'm proud.
(And I'm falling away)...
And as she falls,
she's still the love of a life.
I'm sure she's faithful,
and she's true...
and, she got looks,
and baby, she got style...
She got everything,
Ah, but she ain't you...
And it's hard,
so so hard...
I'm living through,
the Broken Heart.
It just seems so cold.
so so cold:
"I'm Moving on."
"You've got to let it go."
So goodnight Irene.
Here's to the hopes.
The dreams.
And the memories of the best.
And as they pass,
simply raise your glass,
And don't ever give up.
And don't ever forget.
Yeah, It's hard.
so so hard.
We're living through,
the Broken Heart.
Just leaves me cold
so so cold:
"Moving on."
"Mang, you gotta let it go."
