LEGENDARY MUSIC
The chills are running up and down my back, the nape of my neck and all along my arms as I keep listening to this incredible adaptation of the beautiful Celtic sounds and music to "Danny Boy", one of my all-time favourite pieces of music and songs. The first time I listened to "Just One More Time" I just closed my eyes and let the memories of so many precious moments and times in my own life long past now roll through my mind - faces and smiles not seen in years reminded me of friends and loved ones, and voices and sounds not heard in just as many years echoed through every bone in my body. Joe Rock's, rich, gravelly and heartfelt vocals surely make this one of those never-to-soon-be-forgotten heart-aching, tear-jerker ballads to the memory of cherished loved ones who have since departed this life - some far too soon before their time as the saying goes. But the time is not ours to choose. What a poignant and heart-warming tribute this is to the memory of DirgeK. For me, this beautiful song helps to take away the feeling of emptiness in the cabin tonight. I think old Rascal is going to get an extra hug or two before I go say my prayers. Another Legendary song has just been added to my station. Enjoy.
