I open the door
I've been in here before
Inside a light comes on
I know there's something wrong
In a corner near the back
A cold, metal rack
A red plastic box
Sealed tight and locked
I grabbed the sides and top
And forced the box to pop
But what was in the box
Was not what I had sought
I looked near the floor
And saw a metal drawer
A putrid smell and taste
Hit me in the face
For what was in the drawer?
A cloud of nasty spores
A microscopic forest
Unfolds itself before us
I guess... I guess I forgot it was there
I left it there for quite some time
Yes, it was something I forgot
I guess I let it rot
