As I was taking a break one day, I though about my own life and the promises I have made. Sometimes I have been really good about keeping them, and I've tried to make that the habit, but I haven't always succeeded. Then the thought occurred to me, what promises have I made to the Lord? How have I done in keeping them? Then I thought about how loving and forgiving Jesus has been to me, even though I have failed time and time again to do all I promised. Then I realized we can't keep our promises to Him in our own strength, but only in His strength alone.
