Currently, Renee spends her time writing songs and performing. Renee has also written a musical called Seacliff, Demise of Ward 5, which surrounds the tragic events of the fire in 1942 at Seacliff Asylum, near Dunedin, which claimed the lives of 37 women. Renee hopes to see it produced in the near future and is looking into several avenues that may see that happen. As well as focusing on her own career, Renee continues to lend her talents and support to the Charitable organization with StarJam whom, she has performed on numerous occasions, including the recent Halberg Performance in January.
