I was down at the end of the road
and I saw a neon light burning slow
so I pulled in guess its time for a drink
Broke the door and in came the light
bunch of folks looked up in fright
so I let it go & found my place at the bar
hey buddy why dont ya give me something wet
I dont care what just as long as its not sweet
tell you what may as well bring 3 or 4 more
just then I saw at the other end of the bar
the prettiest girl Id ever seen so far
figured why not so I gave it a try

That lil girl sure loved to bootstomp

Yeah we had ourselves a hell of a time
juke box was playing George Jones just fine
wouldn't you know it was about to end
just about then walked in a chainsaw of a man
carrying a big ole smoothbore gun in his hand
and he was looking right at you know who
so I grabbed a chair and hit him square in the eye
it aint my turn not my turn to die
so I grabbed a kiss and headed straight for the door
