This is a very personal song from me to my one year old daughter Maria. When my wife was three months pregnant, they found a mass in the baby's brain during a routine ultrasound. The mass turned out to be a massive hemorrhage that caused devastating damage to her brain. After Maria was born it was discovered that she was blind and that she suffered from seizures.
I wrote this song on the night before her first eye surgery when she was three months old. It signifies the hurt I felt in my heart to have to see her suffer in such a way and the fear of uncertainty of the future and what it holds for her. It is my prayer to God for the strength to be the man I need to be in order to be a proper father to Maria.

The goal of this recording is to convey the full emotional impact of this event in my life and to let others understand in the hopes that they will open their hearts to the millions of children around the world who are thirsting for hope
