A special Christmas song
Robin Killip - Guitar solo Gareth Killip -Bodrum

I lost my daughter Sarah this past September (2009), this is her Christmas song from Dad. Lyrics make mention of "lashings of the far side"...Sarah shared my appreciation of Gary Larsen's Far Side cartoons, my Christmas Card from her was always a Far Side.

Christmas without you Larry Killip 2009
It’s Christmas time again but with a difference
You’re gone away and won’t be here this time
I will never know, why it turned out so
Left me half a man, and I’m doing what I can
It’s Christmas time again and I’m believing
This day will never be the same
When there’s no Christmas smile, I’ll be lonely all the while
Left me half a man, now I’m doing what I can…
This Christmas, without you
Well how can I do Christmas when you’re gone
Christmas, without you
Forever I’ll be lost without your song
Oh so sweet when we’d meet at Yuletide every year
With lashings of the far side, Merry Christmas Daddy dear
Then she twirls, my little girl put’s magic in the air
These memories, I hear a voice, I turn – but you’re not there
Christmas…, without you
Solo
It’s Christmas time again but not the same
The gloss has turned a whiter shade of pain
Your photograph just over there has caught my eye and made a tear
Left me half a man, and I’m doing what I can
This Christmas, without you
Well how can I do Christmas when you’re gone
Christmas, without you
Forever I’ll be lost without your song
Oh so sweet when we’d meet at Yuletide every year
With lashings of the far side, merry Christmas daddy dear
Then she twirls, my little girl put’s magic in the air
These memories, I hear a voice, I turn – but you’re not there
Christmas…, without you
This Christmas…, without you
