A dreadful fog descended on this town -
You couldn’t see the comets falling from the sky.
The streetlights burned all through the day,
But you couldn’t see them ‘til you were two feet away.
Our last days were defined by arguments and car crashes,
And stress became a byword for existence,
And our last days were spent in blindness and in ignorance,
And the meteor didn’t fall. It was pushed.
Until your days are finally at an end,
You wont believe that Armageddon is coming your way.
Until the fog lifts upon this town,
You wont believe that there are comets falling from the sky.
Our last days were defined by arguments and car crashes,
And stress became a byword for existence,
And our last days were spent in blindness and in ignorance,
And the meteor didn’t fall. It was pushed.
