"Blues Run the Game" is a cover by the late 60's folk artist, Jackson C. Frank," Ryder explains. "He only recorded one album - and died in obscurity and homeless. The song was originally tracked in London in 1965, and produced by his fellow American ex-pat Paul Simon. Dubbed 'the opposite of the loud American,' Frank's tale is the most tragic and the least known amongst contemporaries of the '60s and '70s folk scene."
Sunday Suddenly will be released on September 11 via Starfish Records
