One of harper Turloch O Carolan's (West Meath c 1670) best known compositions. The name (pronounced - and sometimes spelled as - "sheebeg, sheemore") means "Little Fairy, Big Fairy" and refers to a local legend from Co. Leitrim concerning a war between two fairy armies.
