HAY FEVER
Every May and in September
Ever since I can remember
Suddenly my constitution goes awry
You wann know why?
Flowers and trees
Are swaying gently in the breeze
Before you know it, suddenly
There's pollen everywhere.
And then the breeze starts breezing
And I just can't stop sneezing
I'm taking antihistamine
Every meal and in between.
And then the rag weed blows
It goes right up my nose
And life's big issue:
Where is the Kleenex Tissue?
All doped up I spend my hours in a daze
Thinking: There must be better ways
To end this misery.
Now and then a friendly rain will clear the air
And I feel good beyond compare
But only for a while.
'Cause then the breeze starts breezing
And I just can't stop sneezing
I'm taking antihistamine
Every meal and in between.
And then the rag weed blows
It goes right up my nose
And life's big issue:
Where is the Kleenex Tissue?
But all this aggravation
Brings me one consolation:
This allergy will get me into heaven
Yes! I know!
'Cause people bless me and bless me and bless me
Yes, people bless me and bless me and bless me
People bless me and bless me and bless me
Everywhere I go.
