Sandy is in trouble with the EPA

As I watched Sandy create havoc it occurred to me how ridiculous the idea of the Environmental Protection Agency actually is.

Sandy, Sandy, you can’t just come along
An blow everything to pieces
Now that is just plain old wrong
Sandy, Sandy, you’ve had your stormy way
But now you’re in big trouble
With the mighty EPA
They’ve got lawyers by the thousands
Some of the best in the nations
To enforce all its rules and its endless regulations:
You cannot hurt the animals
and the waters must be clean
And the energy you use
Must be nothing else but green
Sandy, Sandy, you just can’t show up one day
And break all the rules
Of the mighty EPA
Sandy, Sandy, you’ve had your stormy way
But now you’re in big trouble
With the mighty EPA
You’re killing living beings
Indiscriminately
And the river’s filthy dirty
As far as I can see
The country side is flooded
And that is pretty mean
And the energy you’re using
Is anything but green.
Sandy, Sandy, you can’t just come along
An blow everything to pieces
Now that is just plain old wrong
Sandy, Sandy, you’ve had your stormy way
But now you’re in big trouble
With the mighty EPA
I know you cannot help
Being what you are
A storm will be a storm
Like a star will be a star
I know you’re part of nature
And you follow nature’s way
But you should have paid attention
To the mighty EPA
Sandy, Sandy, you can’t just come along
An blow everything to pieces
Now that’s just plain old wrong
Sandy, Sandy, you’ve had your stormy way
But now you’re in big trouble
With the mighty EPA
Yes, now you’re in big trouble
With the mighty EPA
