I believe in Santa Claus
And shiny noses, too
So I'm heading up North Pole way
To see what I can do.
And when I find the nice old man
I'll have my list to read
So when he comes at Christmas time
He'll bring me what I need:
A lot of sunshine
When skies are gray
A little road sign
When I lose my way
A cozy fire
When I get cold
And some happy memories
When I grow old.
I believe in Christmas time
And the nice things people do
I only wish that it would last
The whole year through.
People would think about the other man
It would be nice indeed
And we would end up getting
The things we really need:
A lot of sunshine
When skies are gray
A little road sign
When we lose our way
A cozy fire
When we get cold
And some happy memories
When we grow old.
