Original Light Rock track by Derek McCorkell

Written , Composed , Performed and Produced by Derek McCorkell

I dreamed that I was standing ,
In a large deserted square,
On closer inspection though,
There were thousands of us there,
What used to be warm flesh and blood,
Took a while to understand,
Lie scattered all around me here,
Just worthless grains of sand,

A Holocaust of man's design,
Was the culprit here I fear,
The only beating heart was mine,
It was all that I could hear,
Is this our future,God Forbid,
We be forever damned,
Annihilation seems assured,
And all by our own hand. Aaw

Can you visualise,
The awful sight,
The sky a murky grey,
Where nothing grows,
And it's hard to tell,
When the night becomes the day,
A silence so unbearable,
With no sound to be heard,
No cattle lowing in the field,
No sweetly singing bird,

For it only took mere minutes,
To realise our fears,
Obliterate all signs of life,
That took Millions of years,
Ah,is this our future,God Forbid,
We be forever damned,
Annihilation seems assured,
And all by our own hand.

Instrumental Break

We've got to learn to compromise,
See the other's point of view,
And do unto each other,
As you would have them do to you,
Extend the hand of Fellowship,
Instead of making war,
Or the Earth we Love and ,
Hold so dear,
Will be no more.

Break

We've got to learn to compromise,
See the other's point of view,
And do unto each other,
As you would have them do to you,
Extend the hand of Fellowship,
Instead of making war,
Or this Earth we Love and ,
Hold so dear,
Will be no more.
