Blue Jay Way

A dark day in the park
Hours alone
Wind blew the trees

No telephone, no TV
Nothing to confuse me
Only me
No distractions, lights or bells
Hopeless dreams in wishing wells
Only me

I knew it would rain
So I took off my hat
Looked at the sky

Everyone I've ever known
Faces in the clouds
I'm not alone
All around the flow of love
From within and from above
We're not alone

So I got in my car
Drove to Bluejay Way
Parked, got out

The Sun came through the clouds
I turned the music up really loud
Orange sunset, purple ocean
City sparkilng

Venus above the clouds
On the horizon (2x)

intrumental break

Venus above the clouds
On the horizon (4x)

Venus in Sagitarius x

We had been rehearsing and recording for a while, but when we did this one we knew we were on to something.

TRIPPING BALLS
I was tripping balls with some friends at the top of Blue Jay Way in West Hollywood. Right up the street from The Beatles old house. Everyone had their radios cranked up on KMET, the Mighty Met, and we were all in tune. Joints were burning, beers were flowing, and the cops never came to blow our trip. Yeah, L.A., baby.
