Sometimes wonder what its all about
seems to be no logic - can't work it out
More I research it, less sense it makes
People must be lying - that's all it takes
Faith in the future has slowly crumbled down
Used to see my friends once but they're not around
See the world in colour when its really black & white
Hear the sound of daylight in the middle of the night
Feel the world is falling into some abyss
Used to hear the headlines - now I always miss
Watching from the sidelines while it all falls apart
Don't believe the liars that offer a brand new start
They give us promise that rarely turn out true
say you should trust 'em but keep your trust in you
Hope that one day there'll be a brighter plan
but all these Davos clowns have got it in the can
Hear there's salvation if you follow every word
Never been a follower - it's just what I heard
Say its for our safety - guess we'll never learn
Keep to the madness but don't see much return
Feels kinda crazy that they censor what we see
Maybe the real cure is to switch off TV
Spend so much time thinking - Still feels like dream
so many of their actions seem so extreme
