A remake of a song I posted on IMP several years ago.

The sun's dipping low, painting the sky in soft golds and pinks, and the crickets are just starting their nightly chorus. That's the Carolina way.

No big production, no crowd. Just a man offering his whole soul, asking her to do the same—so they can become one, not just for a lifetime, but forever and a day.
The guitar picks up soft and melodic, carrying the weight of that vow into the night. And as the choir echoes in the fade, it's like the hills themselves are singing back: Forever... forever and a day.
