"The Miles of Decay" imagines the Relay aftermath as distance: not one ruin, but a long road of rot that must be crossed. The title gives trauma geography, measuring damage by how far it stretches rather than how loudly it arrives.
Inside the album, the track keeps the cycle from feeling static. Relapse moves; decay has mileage; the survivor travels and still finds the same system waiting ahead.
