1.
I open up my guitar case
In the polished wood I can see my face
Over and over and over and over
I see the same thing
It's not pretty
Time has left its mark on me
Look a little closer so you can see
Over and over and over and over
I've been worn down
It's not pretty

-c-
But my friends have picked me up
When I have fallen down
I'll do my best to return the favor
My friends have picked me up
When I have fallen down
Don't worry about me
I'll be fine

2.
Sunday night I drift to sleep
Has it really been another week?
Over and over and over and over
I've seen the time go
It's not pretty
But the weeks turn into months and years
Each hour I have to face my fears
Over and over and over and over
I've been terrified
It's not pretty

-c-
But my friends have picked me up
When I have fallen down
I'll do my best to return the favor
But my friends have picked me up
When I have fallen down
Don't worry about me
I'll be fine

SuPeRhErO
True friends are heroes indeed.

Spaceboy
Lovely mellow-vibed indie pop song with genuine good feelings and a gentle anthemic quality..Spaceboy considers everyone on Planet Earth as his friend tho (unfortunately) being out in space all the time never gets to see any of them..

THE BLACK SHEEP
even a Black Sheep needs friends!!

The Good Stuff Trois!!!
Just because I always need at least one of my own songs on my stations. And this one has been getting a lot of props recently. So, why not?

AFTER THE FLOOD
Hop On Pop was four friends, brought together by Todd Leiter-Weintraub to record an album full of his original compositions. That album, As Drawn By Ethan, Age 2, was released in April, 2004 on Spade Kitty Records. The album received positive reviews and achieved relatively modest sales. The band splintered in August, 2007, leaving Leiter-Weintraub alone... all by his lonesome. (sniff sniff.) Well, being alone, Todd decided to pursue a more fluid format for the next Hop On Pop album. He convinced HoP drummer/percussionist/multi-instrumentalist David Kling to join him on this new venture. Together, they are picking up friends, musicians, and acquaintences, nerds, and various insects wherever they can find them to record a new set of songs for the anxiously awaited follow-up.
