This artist is so creative, so dynamic, I'm not even sure how to begin this review...there are so many gemstone lyrics spun from Whitley's earthy voice...and the music morphs from delicate blues tinged rock into Hendrix-like live jamming as his band not only backs him up but follows him on his musical journey as Whitley attempts to call upon all Gods, breaking guitar rules and creating the electric energy that may bring them down to find out why? Rock On!!

!!! Karnival OF Thrills !!!
2 or 3 chords is all Dan Whitley needs to inject his intense spirit into and build a live and raw Rock song with tastes of Spanish, progressive, and acoustic blues guitar galore and awesome lyrics transcending our quest to be delivered from the pains of life..and with a true heart, the Dan Whitley band attempt to Call all Gods and show them how we humans bleed and of course.......how we ROCK!!!!!!

MUSICAL PUPPETS inna GALAXY
"don't forget to duck when it's your turn to self destruct"..Whitley gets brutal with the truth and is not afraid of dying on his quest for absolution from the pain of love and life's turmoils..and in this song the Whitley band attempt and quite possibly achieve contact with 'the groove' which leads to the other side..are the answers for Whitley there?..I'm not sure but he's not afraid to find out and get ready for his signature and soulful guitar work reminiscent of the frenzied/spiritual attack of Neil Young and Hendrix when they too caught that illusive groove which all musicians strive to ride. Rock On!!

LaCroix's Place

WoW! This guy rocks!

This Just In
Pearl Jam - esque. Builds to a crescendo at the end. A lot of nice influences here.

Heavy Rotation
From mellow acoustic to full-on Rock in one song. Must-hear stuff for sure.
