Verse 1
I do more than survive. Moving forward all the while. When I'm tired of the rat race, things ain't going my way. I grab my baby by my side and we drive.

Chorus:
Crusin crusin down the highway of life, it's alright. Top down movin' out my window the world rolls by, but I don't mind

Verse 2
Foot to the floor I make time watching the curves ahead unwind. Sometimes at the days end I want to get away and just leave it all behind me.

CH:

Verse 3
Stive to find piece of mind. So you don't get taken for a ride. Sick of working for the weekend. About to go off the deep end. Move on down the road another mile.

CH: x

I haven't heard too many psongs lately that gave me the distinct feeling of riding a Harley down California Highway 1 at 4:00 am but this certainly does. Nice dark surfy guitar with strangely menacing West Coast Byrd(re)call vocals. Great track man.

The Drive Home
Cruisin' the highways ragtop down, breeze in your face
